“Your Feelings Are Talking. Let’s Decode the Message”
Taught by: Liz Simmons, LMSW
(LICENSED MASTER SOCIAL WORKER)
Part 1: 6-7:30/8ish
We all have emotional patterns that show up when something deep inside us needs attention. Our feelings are not trying to torture us — they’re trying to send a message about something you really need. When you figure out what your unmet need is and learn how to meet it in a healthy, whole way, the old emotional cycles lose their grip, and you start feeling free and whole.
Bring to class something real from your own experience— a memory or situation that still holds and emotional sting — and let’s work through it (in a private, respectful way--this is a simple systematic approach you'll take home with you and master on your own!). You’ll learn how to spot the message hidden in the emotions, meet your true needs, and learn to work with your system in service of true self-care by meeting your needs in wholeness!
Come get unstuck. Healing is possible!

First we learn. Now we put that learning into practice. Your body is meant to move, but often times we forget (or never new) how important that truth is. Come experience the perfect, gentle evening practice where you can feel in your body that movement truly is medicine.
**Expectations and What to Bring: Come and experience an integrative
Somatic Movement practice (think gentle yoga with a bit more intentional movement) with practical techniques to take home!
**Please wear comfortable warm layers of clothing you can move in and
remove as your body gets warmer during movement practice, a water
bottle, yoga mat or towel, blanket, notebook and pen, open mind, and be prepared to set intentions.
