Comfrey Leaf Tincture

Comfrey is grown in our own backyards. Herb Pocket workers grow plants without herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, etc.  That’s better than “certified organic.”  When we harvest herbs it’s at the right time of day and at the right time of year for the best medicine. As we harvest we notice and discard rusted leaves, grass pieces, bugs, and yellowed leaves. We harvest (usually within a few minutes) and immediately take the plants inside where, if needed, they are washed and dried as quickly as possible. We do not use a steam application to kill bugs on freshly harvested plants. Our herbs dry in a dark room until they are placed in a paper sack for storage, also in a dark room. If a tincture is being made from the dried plant, we aim to make it within 6 weeks of harvest. If a tincture is made from the fresh plant, it is made within 48 hours of harvest. All plants and plant medicine are kept in the dark as much as possible during and after processing as well as during storage.. We pick every flower and leaf. We give thanks to the plants. We pour our heart and soul into providing a top quality product because we expect the plants to be very good at supporting normal body function to help our families.

Something exceptional about Herb Pocket is that we try to be as transparent as possible as to what exactly you are purchasing.

As a new company in 2022 we are still learning and so we’d appreciate your patience and feedback. Contact us at herbpocket2@gmail.com

Another name for comfrey is knit bone because it has the powerful ability to speed healing. It even helps the body heal lung tissue. It’s a great anti-inflammatory internally and externally. It’s nutritive in that it contains many minerals that it brings up from the subsoil. Great for bronchitis.

Use as a salve to prevent scarring.

Cautions: Do not use if pregnant, have liver problems, or if taking any medication for liver issues.
