Because of their low moisture and low water activity, dates have a long shelf life (1mo on the shelf, approx 6mo in the fridge & a few years in the freezer--mine have never lasted longer than that so I'm not sure exactly how long!)

So, why choose organic dates? There are countless reasons, but a few of our favorites include:

Choosing organic dates means you keep harmful pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals out of your body.

  • Organic farming keeps dangerous substances out of the soil, reducing pollution and protecting the environment.
  • Organic dates tend to be fresher than conventionally grown dates.
  • Organic dates are GMO-free. This means their DNA has not been altered. We grow real food the way it was meant to be.
